Social Work is a professional course learnt to extend professional help to the humanity and the ultimate mission is to uphold social justice. This could be possible by initiating social change, problem solving and strengthening human relationships, empowerment and liberation of people and to augment their well-being. Human rights and social values are fundamental to social work. It bases its methodology on a systematic body of evidence-based knowledge derived from research practice and evaluation.

Candidates may apply for revaluation for the paper which was already evaluated, within 15 days from the date of publication of the result in the university website, through specified revaluation forms along with required fees.
The combined project shall be undertaken by the students as a team of two.

The passing minimum is 40% (External minimum is 27 out of 75; No minimum for internal, but External + Internal should be at least 40)
The performance of a student in each course is evaluated in terms of percentage of marks with a provision for conversion to grade points.
The candidates of previous syllabus scheme may be permitted to write exams in their own schemes up to the examinations of April 2020 as a transitory provision.
